A hilarious video of Itumeleng Khune has left social media users howling since it was posted on X (the social media previously known as Twitter) on Monday, 19 February — this comes after the soccer player was heard attempting to spell the word “apologies”.

In the video, Itumeleng Khune can be seen standing with some of his colleagues in what appears to be the locker rooms. One of his colleagues can then be heard demanding him to spell the word “apologies”.

In a jaw-dropping and failed attempt, Khune goes on to butcher the spelling of the word. He leaves not only his colleagues but also several social media users in stitches.

With his soccer skills on the field on lock, in November 2022, the seasoned goalkeeper revealed that he has also invested in himself. He took to Instagram and revealed that he had recently graduated from a university in Pretoria. Khune showed off some photos from his graduation day at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

He had enrolled in the Player Transition Programme (PTP), ZiMoja reported. According to the publication, the soccer star’s wife, Sphelele also shared that the programme assists the sports players secure their life after football.
