Viral sensation Skomota is said to be hosting a one-man show in Pretoria. Popular news blog MDN News confirmed the show’s news in an X post.

SKOMOTA TO HOST A ONE-MAN SHOW

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the news blog posted, “Skomota is set to host a one man show. The Mafefe-born media sensation will be hosting SKOMOTA ONE MAN SHOW on 26 October 2024 in a 51 000 capacity, Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria.”

Since it was posted on the internet, the post has gained thousands of comments and reactions. Fans were quick to ask what Skomota would perform the whole night, given that he only performs his signature dance moves.

No doubt, this will be arguably one of his biggest shows in months. The one man show will be held at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium. The 51,000-seater stadium will host Skomota on 26 October 2024.

However, his management has not confirmed the news that has since thrust Skomota into the top trends. No doubt, since his thrust into the limelight, Skomota has fast become one of the most sought-after stars and has wowed many with his signature dance moves.

He has been busy and booked lately and has headlined several shows across the globe. Last month, he had his first international show in the United Kingdom. Skomota performed alongside Limpopo Boy, and it was a blast.

The viral dance sensation has also shared the stage with several A-listers, including Makhadzi and DJ Tira. Skomota joins a host of South African stars who have hosted one-man shows over the years, including Cassper Nyovest and Focalistic.

However, against the news, Mzansi has since flooded social media with their two cents. Some were puzzled to learn that he would be hosting a one-man show, while others poked fun at his recent shows.

MAKING HEADLINES

News of the show comes barely a week after Moja Love canned his reality show. Confirmed reports have it that Skomota’s show was canned after the two parties failed to find a common ground on remunerations.

Reports have it that Skomota demanded R1 million to air his private life, which he has kept under wraps for years, but Moja Love found it too exorbitant. However, this is not the first time he has hogged headlines.

Earlier this year, he pulled a shocker when he revealed that he was cancelling all his bookings amid exploitation rumours. Skomota’s close friend and road manager made it known that his manager was swindling him millions since he did not have any bank accounts or access to his money.
