Babes Wodumo’s fans have slammed reports that she is dating amapiano musician Sabelo Zuma, whose stage name is Zuma.

BABES WODUMO AND ZUMA DATING RUMOURS

According to ZiMoja, sources have revealed that the Wololo hitmaker – real name Bongekile Simelane – has found love in the arms of the former Ama Roto member.

This comes over a year since her husband and Big Nuz member, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo’s passing. Mampintsha succumbed to a stroke in December 2022. The pair shared one child together, a son named Hlelolenkosi Maphumulo.

Sources claim that the alleged couple first sparked romance rumours late last year when they were spotted together at a music festival. They have allegedly been seen at many other events together.

“She is young and is allowed to move on with her life. She has done her part and mourned her husband for a year,” another source was quoted as saying.

The gqom star’s sister and manager, Nondimuso Simelane, declined to comment.

‘THAT’S HER COUSIN’

The reports were also shared by popular news account @MDNnewss on X (formerly Twitter).

However, some X users rubbished the reports, saying Babes Wodumo and Zuma are cousins.

“Since when are we dating our blood cousins?” asked one social media user.

“Umzala admin. Umzala. Cousin!!!!!!!!” another commented.

“That’s her Cousin wena,” another X user said.
