South African musician Emtee — real name Mthembeni Ndevu — was once one of the biggest rappers in SA. Headlines of abuse, substance abuse and a general change in his attitude and appearance has cost him a lot over the years. And now a video of the rapper in his younger days has gone viral as local discuss how good and healthy he looked in the past.
Many who watched the video shared their hopes for his return to glory.

New Emtee video leaves fans concerned
It’s no secret that things haven’t exactly been going spectacular for local rapper Mthembeni Ndevu — stage name Emtee.
The musician shot to fame almost instantly but soon started making headline for things like woman abuse, drug abuse and even showing his private parts on a live stream.
While he has been working on some new music and making his social media presence known.

This hasn’t always been a good thing for the rapper who faces constant scrutiny from his fans who are worried he’ll never make it back to the top.
A video of him years ago when he first entered the music scene surfaced online this week as locals discussed how good and well taken care of he looked.
In the clip, the Roll Up hitmaker is discussing his success and how he had known since he was a child he wanted to be in the music business.
