National Prosecuting Authority has it that Edwin Sodi could lose R300m in properties if found guilty in his ongoing court cases – reports.

Could this be the downfall of controversial tenderpreneur and business mogul Edwin Sodi? The business mogul is topping trends after losing several properties recently to an auction.
Against the news, little is known about the rumoured auction that happened a few weeks ago. However, his Morningside mansion is also for sale. The mansion is selling for a whopping R75 million. No doubt this is one of his most-priced properties.
Edwin Sodi’s company is at the centre stage of two multi-million tenders. The two tenders include the R255 million asbestos contract in the Free State and the R295 Rooiwal Wastewater Treatment Works.
The two controversial tenders are before the courts. However, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) revealed that Sodi’s property worth over R300 million would only be forfeited to the state if Edwin Sodi is found guilty. Edwin Sodi is set to appear before the courts on 15 April, along with Ace Magashule and 17 others.
