After having watched the Thabo Bester docu-series Tracking Thabo Bester which premiered on Showmax recently, Podcast & Chill presenter So Phenduka expressed his disappointment with Dr Nandipha Magudumana.

SOL PHENDUKA ON DR NANDIPHA MAGUDUMANA ON ‘PODCAST & CHILL’

In August 2022, Dr Nandipha Magudumana (34) appeared on Podcast & Chill’s episode 383 with Marcia Mayba. She was sweet and poised as she talked about her medical expertise and dermatology.

“I don’t do skin lightening [bleaching] and the reason for that is because I really advocate for women to accept their skin as it is. I think there’s this misconception that the lighter the skin, the more beautiful you are which is completely wrong,” Magudumana said.

During the show, Solomzi “Sol” Phenduka could be seen laughing, busting jokes, and purely impressed with Dr Magudumana’s conversation.

Meanwhile, in the same year, Magudumana allegedly stole three bodies in the Free State to help her boyfriend, murderer and notorious Facebook rapist Thabo Bester to escape from prison, The Citizen reported.

Taking to X (the social media platform previously known as Twitter) Phenduka shared that he is still in disbelief that the Magudumana he met on Podcast & Chill is the same person who allegedly committed the crimes claimed in the Showmax documentary.

“Watching the Thabo Bester doccie. This lady sat with us. I hugged her!!!!! Meanwhile, she was transporting dead bodies out of prison, dumping them and helping in prison breaks,” Phenduka wrote on his timelines.

“Crazy how we have no idea who we dealing with emhlabeni [in the world] when we meet people. I only had 1 encounter with her… [The] old saying never gets old: ‘DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER’,” the bubbly podcaster penned.

ABOUT THE THABO BESTER DOCU-SERIES

Through their respective legal teams, Dr Nandipha Magudumana and her 37-year-old convicted criminal boyfriend filed applications to have the release of the documentary halted, IOL reported earlier this month.

The docu-series reportedly includes interviews by GroundUp journalists Marecia Damons and Daniel Steyn, prisoners and prison warders at the Mangaung Correctional Centre where Katlego Bereng Mpholo’s body was burnt during Thabo Bester’s arson escape.

Bester and his bae will be back in court on 5 June. They will also be joined by Magudumana’s father Zolile Cornelius Sekeleni as well as the other six co-accused implicated in the scandalous escape.
