‘Beautiful sisterhood’: Zinhle endorses Pearl Thusi’s DJing career

South African actress Pearl Thusi has ventured into the music business. Videos of the star behind the decks playing a set have taken social media by storm. While many social media users are wondering why another local celeb is turning to music, her former bestie DJ Zinhle — real name Ntombezinhle Jiyane — has shown her support.

Taking to X, Zinhle shared a photo of Pearl, who she says is “her new favourite DJ.” In the comment section, many praised Zinhle for showing Pearl love.

Pearl and Zinhle still doing good?

Isono actress Pearl Thusi and hitmaker DJ Zinhle were once upon a time inseparable.

Every week, the besties would grace our social media pages with snaps of them living their best lives out on vacation or clubbing together.

All of that stopped very abruptly and left many South Africans wondering why that is.

Soon, people started speculating that the pair were beefing.

Both of them subsequently headed online to clear the air about the clip and maintain that they were still as thick as thieves.

Although, for the last few months, they haven’t shared much content together.

Friends supporting friends

Despite this, DJ Zinhle is one of the first local stars to show Pearl support after the Isono star launched her career as a deejay who calls herself Mamma Pantha.

Taking to X, Zinhle shared a photo of Pearl behind the deck, which she captioned:
