FIVE SA CELEBRITY SCANDALS OF 2023

Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s arrest

After being declared dead after a prison fire, Thabo Bester was spotted shopping with Dr Nandipha Magudumana in Sandton. After social media was set abuzz with their photos, the two fled South Africa and were East Africa-bound when captured in Arusha.

Upon their arrest, it was reported that Magudumana helped Bester escape jail, and their relationship also came to light. Of interest, several celebrities were in contact with Bester, who also ran a multi-million business empire while in jail.

Cyan Boujee’s leaked videos

She had her fair share of drama in 2023 when her intimate videos flooded social media. However, she pulled a shocker when she revealed that Prince Kaybee was the one who leaked the videos they recorded when she was only 19. She went on to confirm that they once dated.

Khama Billiat’s contract woes with Kaizer Chiefs

Undoubtedly, it is one of the biggest scandals that cause outrage among football fans. The Zimbabwean talisman dumped Kaizer Chiefs in the eleventh hour and disappeared from the public spotlight against his contract woes with the Chiefs.

His disappearance undoubtedly left many concerned as they tried to connect the dots about his whereabouts. Despite going off the hook on social media for months, he recently returned on social media and has been spotted in the public of late.

JUB JUB’S ARREST

The Uyajola 9/9 host handed himself to the police after a warrant of arrest was issued against him. Jub Jub is embroiled in several sexual assault cases. He is facing 13 counts of sexual abuse, kidnapping, attempted murder and assault.

Mihlali Ndamase and Leeroy Sidambe’s fallout

The two have been topping trends of late in the backdrop of their failed relationship. Ndamase took to social media to reveal that she called it quits with Sidambe in October.

However, this came after Sidambe’s video living it up in Dubai with an unknown woman made rounds on social media. Against their fallout, the rumour mill has it that she is now dating Boss Scott, one of Zimbabwe’s biggest gold dealers.
