Rugby royals: Kolbe and Kolisi wave to crowds from City Hall balcony

Siya Kolisi and Cheslin Kolbe have been dubbed South Africa’s rugby royals after greeting fans ‘regally’ from the City Hall balcony.

South African Springbok captain Siya Kolisi is always full of good energy and has been showcasing this ever since the trophy parade began this week. Various videos of him running towards the crowd, greeting everyone proudly and making people cry with his words of wisdom have been shared on social media so far.

One video shows him and fellow Springbok Cheslon Kolbe even standing on the Cape Town City Hall balcony and greeting everyone enthusiastically has made it online.

Siya and Cheslin dubbed SA’s royals

On Saturday evening last week, then Springboks defeated New Zealand to become the only country in the world to win the Rugby World Cup four times.

The amazing achievement is still being celebrated by South Africans across the country who came out in numbers to welcome the players home from France on Tuesday this week.

Even though they are probably exhausted from all the training and matches, the Springboks did not disappoint when they embarked on a nationwide trophy parade shortly after touching down in SA.
