Internet sensation, Skomota, whose real name is Ngwana Sesi, is from Limpopo and has taken over social media with his humour and comical behaviour. But who is he? Here a five things to know about Skomota…

1. SKOMOTA AGE REVEALED

Skomota’s age is often brought up on social media. He is a 21-year-old young man, SowetanLIVE reported.

2. HOW RICH IS SKOMOTA?

According to iHarare, he is a soccer and betting fan and often said that one day he would be rich. And behold, on 25 August 2023, his dream came true when he allegedly won a whopping R3 million from Betway, a popular online gambling platform.

3. HOW DID HE WIN THE MILLIONS?

Well, he is said to have won the R3 million jackpot after he had placed a bet on a soccer match, the publication reported.

4. WHERE IS THE INTERNET SENSATION NOW?

And, thanks to his newfound social media fame, Skomota has been cashing in from gigs. He has also been making club appearances and doubling as an MC. According to Briefly, in a clip recently posted in X (the social media platform formally known as Twitter) Skomota announced his remaining December bookings. Sadly, he was said to have lacked enthusiasm while sharing the information with his fans which which ultimately had netizens convinced that he was already over the fame and ready to hang the mic.

5. IS SKOMOTA DANCE CHALLENGE

Nonetheless, Skomota sparked a social media frenzy in recent weeks with his intriguing and quirky dance moves. This has resulted in the so-called Skomota dance challenge which has gained momentum on social media platforms like TikTok, X, and more.

“I was over the moon the whole time I was on stage. Not everyone gets such an opportunity, especially someone like me – that moment felt so special… I’ve always loved dancing since I was young. It makes me happy to see how people love my dance moves and how well they’ve incorporated it on social media,” SowetanLIVE quoted him as saying.
