Social media users expressed disappointment over the inauguration of a water tap by the ANC’s Cyril Ramaphosa over the weekend.

‘PRESIDENT CYRIL RAMAPHOSA’S TAP INAUGURATION’

South Africans took to social media to mock President Cyril Ramaphosa’s ‘tap inauguration’ video, which was shared by Newzroom Afrika on X.

The video, which has now reached over 1 million views, shows Ramaphosa standing with a crowd while they turned on an outdoor water tap for the first time.

Cape Talk confirms that the president was overseeing the opening of the Bhekindoda Water Scheme in the Jozini Local Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal.
