‘Thank God for another year’: TS Records boss celebrates bday
‘Happy birthday my grootman’: Thembinkosi ‘TK’ Nciza, the record label boss behind Zahara’s success celebrated his birthday on Sunday.

South African businessman, politician, and record label boss Thembinkosi ‘TK’ Nciza took to Instagram and announced his birthday as seen in his post shared on Sunday, 17 December – his social media friends and followers have since sent him a bunch of birthday messages.

Controversial record label boss TK Nciza announced his birthday on his feed on Sunday. He decided to post two pictures on Instagram from what appears to be a poolside of a resort and marked his 48th birthday.
“Happy birthday to me. Thank you God for another year🙌🏻,” he captioned.

On Thursday, Nciza attended Zahara’s memorial at the Rhema Bible Church in Randburg, Johannesburg. This comes after the Afro-pop star died on Monday, 11 December after suffering from a short illness. Nciza was interviewed briefly outside the memorial service and said he and the Loliwe hitmaker were at peace before her death.
“This is a Zahara moment. That’s why I don’t understand why we should be dragging other things that don’t make sense. I mean, TS Records and Zahara’s story is 9 years old. We answered each other. We spoke, she spoke a story, and that’s it. She has to be respected. She has to be celebrated. What I know as a matter of fact is that she’s sleeping there knowing that we were on good terms and we appreciated each other and I’m happy about that,” he said.

Meanwhile, inside the memorial service, media personality Somizi Mhlongo lashed out and said that people failed Zahara when she needed them the most.
“There was a time I was hosting the SAMAs and I made a joke about her drinking and stuff, only later did you realize what you say to people, how you make people feel is very important and I learned my lesson because I took it for granted as a joke. I didn’t know how much I hurt her, realised later. Luckily, we had time on earth to reconcile and become friends again but still, she went through a rough time, where was Somizi? Nowhere. Where were we? Nowhere,” the SABC quoted him as saying
