Springboks Eben Etzebeth, Damian Willemse, Jasper Wiese, and Jean Kleyn are letting their hair down – in this case, shaving it off – after winning the Rugby World Cup for a second consecutive time.
The players have all undergone wild and wacky makeovers following their heroic and historic win over the weekend.
And it’s all thanks to RG Snyman, who himself has been hailed for his “rockstar” hairdo.

SPRINGBOKS REVEAL NEW LOOK
On their Instagram Stories, a number of Springboks revealed surprising new looks.
It started with Eben Etzebeth, who showed off a mullet at the World Rugby Awards on Sunday. Jasper Wiese was next after completely shaving off all his locks.
Next up was Damian Willemse and Jean Kleyn, who got the “RG Snyman special.”

Snyman – who plays for Irish club Munster – made the “shortlist” of Rugby World Cup players with the best or worst hairstyles.
EBEN ETZEBETH TALKS DRUNKEN HAIRCUT
Meanwhile, Eben Etzebeth has shed light on how his funky new hairstyle came to pass.
According to the lock, the haircut was following a bet to fellow Springbok RG Snyman.
He said in a media conference at OR Tambo after returning to SA: “I said [to RG], if we win the World Cup, I’ll cut my hair the same as yours.

“After the win in the final, it was about half past four in the morning, and the last time I drank water was in the game. He reminded me of my bet and obviously I wanted to be a man of my word. and I mean, I’ll do anything.
He added: “I’ve gotten a few compliments, probably from all my friends. My wife also said it’s not too bad. So as long as she’s happy, I’m happy”.
