Siya Kolisi’s brush with a crazed female fan – and wife Rachel’s likely wrath – has become a trending topic after a clip of the wild encounter went viral.
In it, the Springboks captain was physically attacked by a woman who attempted to get his attention during the East London leg of the Rugby World Cup trophy tour.
While many empathise with the rugby star’s rough experience, others, like friend Siv Ngesi, have been left outraged over the lack of respect for Siya’s wife, Rachel.

FAN GETS INAPPROPRIATE WITH SIYA KOLISI
On Sunday, the Springboks wrapped up their trophy tour in East London. But the joyous celebration ended on a sour note after one woman’s attempt to get to Siya Kolisi went too far.
In a viral video, the woman is seen throwing herself at the Boks captain, even going as far as to plant a kiss on his lips.
The surprising turn of events saw Siya stumble back and angrily storm off.

While many have called out the woman for disrespecting the national hero, close family friend Siv Ngesi believes the fan also disrespected his wife, Rachel, too.
“Lucky Rachel was not there,” he posted on his Instagram account.
Others agreed.
@livefitbyzi: “We all know Siya Kolisi is married with kids. Put some respect on that.”
@bjornsalsone: “No, sisi, he’s a taken man.”
@kamalamoodley33: “Rachel is going to find her. I feel sorry for this woman”.
RACHEL DEMANDS RESPECT
While Rachel may be a star WAG, she has made headlines for calling out hubby Siya Kolisi’s female fans.
In 2018, the mom-of-two labelled Instagram influencer Zuki Lamani “thirsty” after she posted pics of her fangirling over Siya.
Just months earlier, Rachel clapped back at another woman on social media who claimed Siya Kolisi was her “type.”
Taking to her Twitter account – which she has since deleted – Rachel clapped back: “[Siya’s] not ‘a type’. He’s a married man responsible for four children.”

In a separate tweet, she added: “Just a side note. I’ve been there for all the good times. But I’ve also been there for ALL the bad times. Honestly, this should go without saying. Respect my relationship and woman to woman. Respect me.”
