‘R45k on rent’: Faith Nketsi and Nzuzo Njilo’s ‘finances’ laid bare

Reality TV star Faith Nketsi and her estranged husband, Nzuzo Njilo, called it quits eight months after their traditional wedding.

Media personality Faith Nketsi has reportedly filed for divorce from her fraud-accused husband, Nzuzo Njilo, whom she kicked to the kerb in January this year.

The couple, who share one daughter named Sky Njilo, are said to be on the same page about the custody of their one-year-old, however, Sunday World reports that Nketsi is unhappy with Njilo’s financial management.

FAITH NKETSI AND NZUZO NJILO’S ‘FINANCES’

A source revealed that dishonesty and alleged swindling were the core reasons the Have Faith reality TV star ended her marriage with the controversial businessman.

Nketsi allegedly told her associate that she makes R50 000 a month. She reportedly spends R22 000 on her bond, R3 000 on grocery, and R3 500 on water and electricity.

The associate said Nketsi also disclosed Njilo’s monthly gross income which is reportedly R200 000.

The embattled entrepreneur allegedly spends R45 000 on rent, R3 000 on electricity, R2 000 on grocery and R25 000 on petrol.

FRAUD ALLEGATIONS

Njilo and his business partner Kwanda Ntshangase are set to make their next court appearance this month after they were arrested in April this year on allegations of fraud.

At the time, Njilo was granted 30 000, while Ntshangase, received R3 000 bail.

According to a statement by KZN police spokesperson, Colonel Robert Netshiunda, Njilo and his accomplice reportedly masqueraded as salesmen who pretended to sell a truck in May 2021.

“The unsuspecting buyer allegedly went and physically viewed the truck at a dealership in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, and later paid the two a substantial amount of money. The truck was never delivered,” read the statement.

In June this year, another one of Njilo’s fraud case was withdrawn by the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.

The case was brought forward by Lund Industries owners, Blaine Evans and James Stephen’s. The businessmen opened a case of fraud against Njilo for an outstanding debt of approximately R1 million. The pair allegedly paid him for copper concentrate, which he never delivered in August last year.
