Reality TV star and musician Kelly Khumalo is not taking back what she said about the South African Music Awards (Samas) and gospel icon Ntokozo Mbambo.

During the awards ceremony which was staged at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on Saturday, 18 November, the Bazokhuluma singer lashed out at the organisers, Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) after she did not win the Female Artist of the Year award.

Kelly was also nominated in the Best Afropop Album category – which was won by Sjava for his hit album titled Isibuko. However, it appears that it was the Female Artist of the Year award that she had her eye on the most.

“She knows she doesn’t deserve it. Numbers don’t lie… Even Ntokozo knows that numbers don’t lie! We are not scared of her. Fuseg Samas,” she wrote.
