Hungry Lion has taken a page from fellow fast food restaurant Nando’s spicy social media commentary with a swipe at Minnie Dlamini after her shady comments on ex-boyfriend Itumeleng Khune.

In a clip that went viral, the TV presenter was seen seemingly insulting the veteran Kaizer Chiefs player.

The move was widely criticised by the public, who called Minnie out for being a “bitter ex.”

The official account tweeted: “We aren’t taking a Minnie vacation anytime soon. Khune plans of opening more stores in the next coming years”.

The shady quip was not lost on Hungry Lion’s followers.

In recent years, Itu Khune has been plagued by criticism over his age and calls for him to retire.

However, the Kaizer Chiefs player – who joined the club in 2004 – made it clear that he was not ready to end his professional playing career.

In June, Chiefs ended speculation that Khune would retire by offering him a one-year extension on his contract.

The star athlete will continue to play another year in the 2023/2024 season.
