Springbok Faf de Klerk is officially joining the fatherhood club! The pint-sized national team player’s wife Miné is expecting their first child.
And in celebration of his successful rugby career, the couple hosted a green and gold baby shower.

Breaking the news of Miné’s pregnancy was fellow Springbok WAG Jande Koch, whose husband is Vincent Koch.
Vincent and Faf are close friends despite them playing in clubs across the world: the former plays for the Sharks in KwaZulu-Natal, while the latter plays for Yokohama Canon Eagles in Japan.

In an Instagram post, Jandre shared a look inside Miné’s baby shower, which was decked in green and gold.
Miné – a qualified pharmacist – wore a white belted dress that showed off her growing bump.
Jandre captioned the pics: “Celebrating the beautiful mommy-to-be.”

Joining Faf in first-time fatherhood is Eben Etzebeth, whose wife Anlia gave birth over the weekend. It’s been widely speculated that the couple welcomed a baby girl.
Also expecting is Handre Pollard’s wife, Marise, who recently celebrated her bridal shower in South Africa. Marise announced that she would be having a baby boy.

Also pregnant is the girlfriend of Springbok Herschel Jantjies, Kelsey Thomas. The couple are expecting a baby girl.
