South Africa’s Bryoni Govender recently captivated the world with her grace, poise, and advocacy during the Miss Universe 2023 pageant held at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador.
While Nicaragua’s Sheynnis Palacios secured the coveted title, Bryoni made her mark by securing a spot in the prestigious Top 20.

Despite not making it to the Top 10, Bryoni’s journey was nothing short of spectacular.
Bryoni Govender, a law graduate, used the platform to advocate for her campaign, ‘Her Way Out,’. This campaign focuses on educating women about their legal rights and providing access to justice projects.
During the Miss Universe prelims, Bryoni excelled, making it to the Top 10 in the Voice for Change competition.
