‘I’m overwhelmed,’ said Banyana Banyana midfielder Nomvula Kgoale after sharing a photo ‘with a friend’ on her Instagram.

Banyana Banyana’s Nomvula Kgoale took to her Instagram account to share a photo of herself and “her friend” on her Instagram.

“Actually, what is love even when you’re beyond a lifetime within me?” she captioned the photo.

NOMVULA KGOALE: ‘WHAT IS LOVE?’

The Limpopo-born midfielder Nomvula Kgoale revealed on her Instagram that she was overwhelmed after not seeing her “friend” and thanked her for giving her permission to love again.

“My friendssss💜. I’m overwhelmed still after weeks of seeing you, grateful for you giving me permission to love again. Time & this earth thing is just not enough. Actually, what is love even when you’re beyond a lifetime within me?” said Kgoale.

Her friend @shelbyaustin14 also replied the photo of herself and the Bafana Bafana star and said in the comment section: “My friendss! My heart is still so full of seeing you. I have missed you so much. I’m so thankful that Lindsey brought us together and even after so long we haven’t missed a beat! I love you my friendss- until next time <3.”

A fan @cdyne18 of the soccer asked: “Ziyakhala vele lipstick, galfrend ❤️or galfrend?”

BANYANA BANYANA: ‘LIPSTICK LADY’

The Banyana Banyana star, who’s been nicknamed the Lipstick Lady reveals to IOL that she uses a different brand for every match-day.

“Oh, yeah, absolutely. I am not sure if I am allowed to mention the brands, but yeah, come on, I am using different lipsticks (for all the matches),” Kgoale said.

Kgoale recently reflected on her successes and progress at Louisiana Tech in the United States in an interview with Sowetan.

“I excelled as a player and am now in the university’s Hall of Fame. As a person, I gained lifetime friends. It’s very difficult for me to talk about this because there are things I experienced that were so peculiar or surreal that they are too fragile for me to touch”.

The player also reveals that the she was given the nickname Lipstick Lady by South Africans after a viral video on social media when they won Women Africa Cup of Nations.

“I love it. I live it. I own it because it gives me so much pride in being a woman in a space mostly deemed as a men’s sport.”
