Not for the first time, former Springbok AJ Venter has shared his outspoken opinion on South Africa’s state of affairs, including their delegation accusing Israel of ordering a “genocide” against Gaza.

The retired rugby player – who is outspoken on topics like farm murders, corruption amongst the ANC, and land appropriation – shared his thoughts on his X or Twitter account.

This week, SA began its representation at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague in the Netherlands. Filed by a local legal team, SA is demanding that Israel “immediately suspend its military operations in and against Gaza.”

AJ Venter made 25 test appearances for the Springboks between 2000 and 2006.

EX SPRINGBOK SLAMS SA’S DELEGATION AGAINST ISRAEL

Like many South Africans, AJ Venter has been sharing his thoughts on SA’s representation against Israel.

Following the latter’s presentation against SA on Friday, 12 January – as led by the Minister of Justice and Correctional Services Ronald Lamola – Venter tweeted: “Today I am both embarrassed and jealous.

“I am embarrassed that I am automatically by means of nationality falling under these leaders (@MYANC) and jealous of the Israel team. What a demolition”.

Venter’s tweet has been liked by retired South African swimmer Ryk Neethling, amongst others.

AJ Venter has also retweeted several posts not supporting SA’s stance at the ICJ.

One read: “Do you know who’s really being genocided? White. South. African. Farmers”.

AJ VENTER’S DISDAIN FOR MALEMA TOO

The ANC is not the only political party AJ Venter has publicly criticised. The Springbok star also took aim at EFF leader, Julius Malema.

Late last year, Venter tagged the controversial politician after X owner Elon Musk warned anyone who posted threatening tweets.

Musk – who was born in South Africa – tweeted: “At the risk of stating the obvious, anyone advocating the genocide of *any* group will be suspended from this platform.”

Venter was among many South Africans who tagged Julius Malema in the comments section.

He tweeted: “Ooooooh @Julius_S_Malema, your time is running out here, you muppet.”
