South African musician Black Coffee — real name Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo — recently did a tell-all interview which left social media users stunned. The star opened up about his airplane crash, his failed marriage, and also about finding God.
Speaking on Kaya FM, the DJ shared how former kwaito star and drug addict turned pastor Kabelo Bouga Luv” Mabalane helped him get closer to God.
According to Coffee, Mabalane is an “amazing man of God.”

Black Coffee recently did a jaw-dropping interview with Kaya FM. During the interview, he dropped several bombshells about his personal life and also his recent airplane crash.
He also spoke about his desire to move closer to God and how pastor Kabelo Mabalane helped him with that.
According to Black Coffee, Mabalane is an amazing man of God who helped him view things from a new perspective.
“What a beautiful, blessed man. He gave me a perspective of life and faith that I never knew existed. He asked if I was ready to accept Christ as my saviour, and I said no. I don’t want to be the person people are waiting for them to fall.
“He said, ‘What people miss about Jesus is He already forgave our sins. So, you’re allowed to walk and fall and walk again.’ “
Mzansi loves a good pastor
Many who heard this part of the interview loved to hear such positive things about Mabalane who in the past, struggled with drug addiction.
“We thank God for the ministry that he has laid on Pastor Mabalane’s life and we Pray for Gods divine protection and Grace to cover the people he has led to Christ,” one person said while another wrote:
“The mystery of how God works! When Kabelo Mabalane got in that accident many years ago, which almost took his life. He made a decision to trade his own life to surrender it and serve God. Absolutely no sign then, kante it was for such a time like this! What a Mighty God we serve!”
