Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams received more than his fair share of love from fans after arriving to a hero’s welcome in South Africa on Valentine’s Day.
The team returned from their stint at the Afcon tournament in Ivory Coast, where they won a bronze medal for third place.

In a clip posted on social media, Ronwen Williams was seen being ambushed by several women, who got particularly handsy with him.
“It’s Valentine’s Day!” one of the ladies can be heard screaming…

Later, Ronwen thanked fans for their support of the national team.
“We’re just happy we can inspire and unite our country. We saw each message, even though we were far away. We felt the love and support. Let’s keep it like this and keep going from strength to strength”, he said.

WHO IS RONWEN WILLIAMS DATING?
Meanwhile, Ronwen Williams has revealed he is in a happy relationship with his girlfriend and baby mama Roshni.
The couple started dating in their late teens and welcomed their son Mikael a few years later.
In 2019, Ronwen told the Sowetan of their relationship: “I have known my girlfriend since I was very young, so she knows me from when I had nothing.”

He continued: “We started dating seven years ago, but we were friends for the longest time before that. As a footballer, you tend to attract many women, but I am glad that I have someone who knew me from the start and understands me.”
