South Africans across the country are rallying behind musical sensation Babes Wodumo. This after the singer took to her Instagram stories to share an extremely worrisome post about her mental health and what appears to be suicidal thoughts. The post comes almost a year after the Wololo hitmaker lost her husband Mandla “Mapmpintsha” Maphumulo who died shortly after suffering a stroke.

Fans have taken to social media to share kind words with the musician who is now a single mother to her two year old son Sponge.

Babes Wodumo scares fans with worrisome post

South African musician and reality TV star Babes Wodumo has left her fans feeling highly concerned about her well-being.

Over the last few years, she has been through so much especially after losing her husband Mampintsha and shortly afterwards, his mother.

Her weight loss and sullen appearance has been spoken about a lot, fans are more concerned that ever after she shared what appears to be a suicidal post on her Instagram page.

Taking to Instagram Stories, she posted, “Engathi ngingafa,” which loosely translates to “I wish I could die.”

Mzansi is worried

Many felt truly sorry for Babes who has been through so much at such a young age. A lot of them offered prayers for her health and recovery.

“Very sad, I hope she gets some assistance and support from whatever she’s going through,” one person said while another wrote:

“Someone Check On Babes Before Its Too Late”
