President Cyril Ramaphosa and his wife, Dr Tshepo Motsepe shared intimate moments at the voting booths on Wednesday, 29 May.

CYRIL RAMAPHOSA: INTIMATE MOMENTS WITH WIFE

Ramaphosa and his wife’s intimate moments trended on X when the duo voted at Hitekani Primary School in Chiawelo, Soweto.

In the videos shared on social media by X user @MhlauliZiyanda, the president is seen fetching his wife from the car to the voting booths.

“You don’t want me to fetch my wife?” he asks his colleagues. “I’m trying to fetch my wife and you don’t want.”

The president is also seen holding hands with wife, walks with her to que to wait for their turn to vote.

He also thanks his wife after she votes and says: “Thank you baby.”

South Africans gushed over Ramaphosa’s videos with his wife at the voting booths on Wednesday.

‘CYRIL WAS MY SIXTH CHOICE’

TimesLIVE reported in 2023 that South Africa’s first lady, Dr Tshepo Motsepe revealed that President Cyril Ramaphosa was not among her top five candidates.

Motsepe added that she met Ramaphosa on a blind date set up by her friends when she was 33 years old at time.

“My friends kept saying I was getting old and needed to settle down. He was not my first choice but my sixth.”

Before his current wife, Ramaphosa was married from 1978 to 1989 to Hope Ramaphosa, with whom he has a son.

The publication adds that he also married late businesswoman Nomazizi Mtshotshisa from 1991 to 1993.

The politician married his current wife, who is the sister of billionaire Patrice Motsepe in 1996.
