A US psychic who claimed to have communicated with the spirit of AKA – real name Kiernan Forbes – believes the late rapper has a message for his family, including his mom.
Over the weekend, Kandis Starr shared a clip of her “spirit box session” with the entertainer who was gunned down on 10 February 2023. In it are some shocking allegations about the night he died.
The murder investigation of the South African rapper has been a hot topic amongst fans and the public. According to Minister of Police Bheki Cele, authorities are close to making a “breakthrough.”

AKA ‘SPIRIT SPEAKS TO MOM
In the session facilitated by Kandis Starr and her “spirit guides,” what is believed to be AKA’s “spirit” communicated about who and why someone wanted to murder him.
A voice is heard referring to the following:
- A “white Benz” and “hitmen” are believed to be in the getaway car.
- Mentioning “two of my friends.”
- “Haters,” a “gangster,” and a “girl”

When asked if he had a message for his mom, Lynn Forbes, the voice can be heard saying:
“Kiernan’s ok, I love you. To protect my sister and mom. Keep them 100”.
Lynn has been public about navigating her grief following the death of her firstborn son. She’s even vowed to summit the world’s highest mountain – Everest – this year in honour of him.

MESSAGE FOR NADIA TOO?
In the clip, listeners also believe the late rapper acknowledged his relationship with his girlfriend, Nadia Nakai.
It repeatedly said the word “Dangerous,” which is the title of their first and only musical collaboration. The song was released on AKA’s posthumous album Mass Country a month after his death.
COSTA TITCH’S MOM THANKS MEDIUM
Meanwhile, Costa Titch’s mother, Lara Langeveld, has thanked Kandis Starr for her session with the amapiano star.
The pint-size star – real name Costantinos Tsobanoglou – died on 11 March after suddenly collapsing on stage. The rapper was performing at the Ultra Music Festival in Johannesburg.

Following his death – which Lara claims she has yet to receive closure on – Kandis reached out to the “spirit world” to get answers. In it, a voice – believed to be Costa – allegedly claims that he was poisoned by someone close to him.
Speaking in a video message, Lara told the psychic: “I just want to let you know that I really appreciate what you did for me.
“Of course, I’m skeptical. Little made sense to me at the time. But as time went on, I kept on going back to it….it makes sense now
“A lot of people criticise psychics, but you’re doing something that’s a gift from God.”
