Award-winning actor Wiseman Mncube is making headlines against the backdrop of his birthday. Wiseman Mncube revealed his age in an Instagram post despite keeping his private life under wraps.

With an illustrious career spanning years, he has since become one of the most followed actors in South Africa.

However, despite his big wins on small screens, he has managed to keep his age under wraps, leaving many to guess.

On his birthday, Wiseman Mncube posted, “Unkulunkulu emuhle nedlozi elime njalo ngiphindwe ngabusiswa ngomunye unyaka. Ngyabonga ngomusa we mpilo. Thank you to my family for such a beautiful surprise. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.”

The post has gained thousands of comments and reactions. Fans and fellow celebrities were quick to flood her comments section with warm birthday posts.

Actress Zikhona Sodlaka posted, “Twinny mini emnandi kuwe. And blessings in this new year of your life.” Award-winning actor SK Khoza commented, “Happy birthday King.” Fellow actor Nkanyiso Mchunu posted, “Happy birthday, my nigga. Ngigcwele ngomqondisi.”

Against the post, many were more than puzzled by Wiseman Mncube’s age. But how old is he? The 34-year-old star actor was born on 29 May 1990 in Durban, South Africa.

Undoubtedly, he joins many celebrities who recently celebrated their birthdays in May. Actress Botlhale Boikanyo recently celebrated her 23rd birthday on 23 May. Former Family Tree stars Nadia Nakai and Tshego also celebrated their birthdays this month.

CAREER

He has fast become one of the most sought-after stars in South Africa. Wiseman Mncube is best known for his on-screen character of Sbonelo on ‘Uzalo.’ However, in 2023, he made headlines, with reports confirming his exit from South Africa’s most-watched drama series.

Against the news, the drama series confirmed his exit. Earlier this year, his last episode on ‘Uzalo’ was aired. He died a brutal death after being hanged by Njinji.  Wiseman Mncube started his acting career while at DUT. However, he was more into theatre plays. Some of his notable theatre plays include:
