Just another Monday night dinner for Kylie Jenner as she casually stepped out in designer Pierre Louis Auvray’s ‘optical-illusion’ jumpsuit.

Reality star and businesswoman Kylie Jenner made heads turn when she got all dressed up in designer Pierre Louis Auvray’s optical illusion jumpsuit for dinner with sister Kendall Jenner and friends at Nobu in West Hollywood recently.

To say the figure-hugging jumpsuit enhanced the makeup mogul’s curves, is an understatement. The futuristic design and the placement of the pink tones created an optical illusion that looked as if she was “from another planet”.

Kylie accessorised with a matching dusting jacket that had the same pink detailing along the back and paired her outfit with pink shiny heels by Alexandre Vuthier and a candy-coloured Hermes mini handbag…worth around a whopping $9 000 (R132 840).

Kylie previously showed off these Alexandre Vuthier heels in an earlier Instagram post of her handbags and shoes as she counted down to spring. In the image, Kylie’s wardrobe was “dripping bright” candy colours, contradictory to her famous sister Kim Kardashian who mostly steps out in nude and neutral colours.

The reality star who loves wearing hair extensions, however, posted no-filter selfies on her Instagram account two days ago, showing off her new chin-length bob hairstyle.

Pierre Louis Auvray is known for his 3D pieces often made from foam and latex. In order to create the desired print on Kylie’s jumpsuit, he airbrushed the silhouette of a body onto a shiny scuba fabric.

“The inspiration for the print on the coat and jumpsuit [that Jenner wears] came from 80s illustrations, and science fiction, cyberpunk aesthetics,” said the designer to Vogue.

“When looking at the work of [artists] Hajime Sorayama or Pater Sato, there’s always a mix of fantasy and eroticism, and I’m very inspired by this when I draw my own prints,” he added.

He has recently become one of the rising talents in designing outfits for celebrities with Cardi B recently wearing one of his creations when she went out shopping.
