South African social media users were left all teary-eyed after an old photo of Nadia Nakai and her late boyfriend Kiernan “AKA” Forbes resurfaced online. The photo was taken in 2014 and shared on Twitter by Nadia herself long before she and him even thought of getting together.
Many of those who saw the snap were brought back to the reality of AKA’s passing and thought about how hard it must be on Nadia who is working hard to be strong.

Old snap of AKA and Nadia warm hearts
It was truly a difficult time for millions of South Africans after local rapper AKA lost his life at only 35 years old.
The musician had been in a relationship with with fellow rapper Nadia Nakai for just over a year at the time of his passing.
While many didn’t initially approve of the relationship, the pair quickly won over hearts as they showered each other with love and affection on social media.

In fact, they soon became one of the country’s favourite couples. This is why many hearts bled for Nadia who was left heartbroken by AKA’s sudden departure.
And now many people have been left with teary eyes after an old snap of the two of them popped up on the timeline again.
The photo was shared on Twitter by Nadia all the way back in 2014 before the pair even dreamed of dating one another.
