‘Tinashe Nengomasha 2.0′: Kaizer Chiefs’ Samkelo Zwane’s age revealed

Mzansi was more than convinced that Kaizer Chiefs starlet Samkelo Zwane would be bullying PSL teams for years after his age was revealed.

Kaizer Chiefs starlet Samkelo Zwane is a top baller who has since been dubbed the next Tinashe ‘Father’ Nengomasha.

He had his shot at fame thanks to his impressive form in the DStv Diski Challenge, which saw several clubs pursuing his signature which saw him being promoted to the senior team.

KAIZER CHIEF’S SAMKELO ZWANE’S AGE REVEALED

Many have been trying to connect the dots about his age in the backdrop of his newfound fame. No doubt his private life has often thrust him into the top trends.

His fitness and looks have often implicated his age into the mix, given his composure and command in the game. After all, he knows well how to look sharp and fit as an athlete. He is younger than we thought and has years to bully PSL teams in the midfield.

Samkelo Zwane is the son of celebrated South African left winger Eugene Zwane, who once starred for Orlando Pirates, Jomo Cosmos and SuperSport.

The Kaizer Chief baller was born on 2 January 2002. The 21-year-old star is among the youngest in the DStv Premier League this season. Samkelo Zwane’s age left many puzzled. In the backdrop of his newfound fame, he has gained a huge following on several social media platforms.

Shockingly, he was once a rugby player before switching the floor to football. In one of the interviews, his father revealed that Samkelo was into rugby while growing up but had to switch the floor after noticing his talent.

JOINING AMAKHOSI

However, many were puzzled when they learned that the star once trained with Orlando Pirates.

Samkelo’s father once revealed that the now Kaizer Chiefs star trained with the youth developmental team of Pirates, but due to logistical issues, they had to change him from the Soweto giants.

However, the star is also related to Kaizer Chiefs assistant Themba Zwane. His stay at Kaizer Chiefs has seemingly brought the two together despite being distant relatives. No doubt he is poised for greatness and has a colourful future ahead.
