‘Political leaders who don’t care’: Penuel throws shade at Malema?
Tweeps have showered Penuel with support after EFF leader Julius Malema apparently dragged him during a press briefing on Wednesday this week.

South African podcaster Penuel The Black Pen has seemingly struck back at Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema. This after the party’s president mocked him during a press briefing on Wednesday this week. During the press briefing, Malema accused Penuel — without naming him — of being a MacG wannabe with few followers and unoriginal content.
Taking to Twitter, Penuel tweeted about the country’s social ills while adding that there are political leaders who don’t care. Many headed to the comment section to question whether the tweet was directed at Malema.

Did Penuel throw shade at Malema with this tweet?
On Wednesday this week, Julius Malema insulted a number of people in a single press briefing.
The controversial EFF leader discussed his insistence of chanting the Kill The Boer struggle song, his twitter spat with SpaceX founder Elon Musk and also a wannabe MacG podcaster which many have figured out his Penuel The Black Pen.

And now it seems that Penuel has struck back but like Malema, didn’t mention who the tweet was directed at.
“In the midst of all the noise… plz remember that we still have rampant poverty, load shedding, crime, & political leaders who don’t care about the masses. Focus on building your family & community, & buy from businesses that invest in your communities. Find Your Tribe,” he tweeted.

SA reacts
Many in the comment section wondered out loud whether or not this was his response to Malema’s many jabs. A lot of them encouraged him to ignore the sharp tongued EFF leader.
“Julius is a gossiper who flip flops on every issue, ignore him. He’s in it for his and his families economic freedom. You are the people and the masses and live like all of us on the ground. Keep going on your mission,” one person said.
