A video of famous boxer Floyd Mayweather speaking on the sex trafficking allegations against Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs has resurfaced on social media following the recent house raids at the hip-hop mogul’s houses.

Last week Monday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security revealed that it had opened an investigation into Diddy, Reuters reported. The officials were granted warrants to raid Diddy’s multi-million dollar mansions in Miami and Los Angeles. Both of the homes were ultimately turned upside down during the searches.

The raids come as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation, Rolling Stone reported. A number of lawsuits have since been filed against the rap music mogul following his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit accusing Diddy of rape and sex trafficking. The former lovers reached a settlement a day after the lawsuit was filed, NBC News reported.

Since then, boxer Floyd Mayweather has broken his silence on the matter. In fact, he is one of the few friends of Diddy that have spoken out about the allegations against him.

“I’m not going to speak bad about P. Diddy because he’s still a Black man. I mean, mistakes happen, and I can’t say if it is or isn’t a mistake. But, things happen in life, and P. Diddy’s business is P. Diddy’s business. It’s not my job, or anybody else’s job to go on the internet and stomp him and kick a man while he’s down. My take on it is [that] it’s not my business,” Mayweather said.

“I don’t think it’s right at all, and I don’t condone it. Even if it happened to my daughter, I would be hurt. But that’s a choice my daughter made,” Mayweather added.

Diddy’s lawyer Aaron Dryer has also stepped forward to defend his client. In a statement, Dyer said Diddy was ambushed and added that the raids were “meritless”.

“This [was an] unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence —[It] leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,” Diddy’s lawyer said in a statement.

“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name,” Dyer reportedly said in the statement.
