In a recent twist of co-parenting fate, reality TV icon Kim Kardashian and ex-husband Kanye West found themselves navigating yet another awkward run-in, this time at their son Saint’s basketball game in Los Angeles on Friday.

KIM K AND YEEZY CO-PARENTING

The Skims founder and the Donda emcee made separate entrances, clad in contrasting all-black ensembles.

Kardashian, 43, rocked a black hoodie and pants under a luxurious brown leather and fur floor-length coat. This ensemble was complemented by dark shades and a small brown purse according to PageSix.

KIM K AND YE: SUPPORTIVE PARENTS

On the other side, Ye, 46, sported a T-shirt over a long-sleeved shirt, parachute pants, and combat boots, exuding his signature eclectic style.

Photographers captured the duo briefly conversing inside the venue. They maintained a respectable distance as their 8-year-old son took to the court with his team.

KIM K AND YE’S DIVORCE

This reunion follows a similar encounter last week, marking the first time the ex-couple had been seen together amid their co-parenting challenges.

Despite their publicized divorce, which was finalized in November 2022, Kardashian and West have been putting on a united front. This is definitely for the sake of their four children – North, 10, Chicago, 6, Saint, 8, and Psalm, 4.

CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS

However, the road to harmonious co-parenting has been anything but smooth.

West, ordered to pay $200,000 a month in child support, has openly aired his grievances about the co-parenting arrangement.

In his track True Love, released in May 2022, he rapped about the challenges, and in a December 2023 rant, he expressed frustration about having limited say in his children’s lives.

POST-DIVORCE COMPLEXITIES

Kardashian, too, has acknowledged the difficulties of co-parenting, describing it as “really f–king hard” during an interview on the “Angie Martinez IRL” podcast.

She emphasized her efforts to shield their kids from the controversies surrounding West, emphasizing that they are not ready for the complexities of grown-up issues.
