American actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish has officially been charged with a DUI on Wednesday, 13 December three weeks after she was arrested for falling asleep behind the wheel, while being intoxicated.

TIFFANY HADDISH HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN CHARGED
According to Page Six, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office explained that Tifanny Haddish was charged with one misdemeanour count of driving under the influence of alcohol and another misdemeanour count of driving with .08 percent blood alcohol content (BAC).
Californian law states that it is illegal to drive with a BAC of .08 percent or higher if you are over 21 years old.
The comedian and actress is due back in court on the 22 December for her arraignment and plea.

In the early hours of Friday, the 24 November, Tiffany Haddish was arrested on the suspicion of DUI charges.
Beverly Hills Law enforcement confirmed that the actress fell asleep while behind the wheel in the middle of Beverly Hills Drive.
Tiffany Haddish’s arrest comes after she was seen performing at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood Thursday evening for the club’s 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast for the community. She was also seen helping serve participants, with local TV news capturing the festive event.
The comedian was released the same day on bail.
In an exclusive Interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier, Tiffany Haddish opened up about her recent DUI arrest and pledged that she will never be driving under the influence, “this will never happen again”, she added.
“I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries”, Tiffany further noted.
