The premiere of Beyoncé’s Renaissance concert film saw the attendance of a plethora of celebrities like Lizzo, Lori Harvey, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams just to name a few. While most of Hollywood attended the glamorous event, Taylor Swift appeared to be missing from the lot.

THE RENAISSANCE PREMIERE
Beyoncé’s film premiered one month after she made a surprise appearance on the red carpet for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour movie premiere.
Causing a stir on social media, Beyoncé was seen posing for a few snaps with Swift, who thanked her for her “generosity of spirit.”
Despite this Taylor unfortunately missed the Queen Bey’s movie premiere as she is currently in the midst of the South American leg of her Eras Tour. She was performing in São Paulo the night of Beyoncé’s movie premiere.
Details of the event were kept top secret. Guests were strictly told to arrive promptly on the “chrome carpet” and adhere to the “cozy opulence” dress code and theme.
Other attendees included Halle Bailey, Chloe Bailey, Tyler Perry, Ava DuVernay and actress Gabrielle Union.

BEYONCÉ’S INFLUENCE
It’s no secret that Taylor Swift has always paid respect to and attributed Beyoncé as one of her creative influences.
Just weeks ago, the Shake It Off artist gushed over Beyoncé in a heartfelt Instagram post. This came after they watched her concert film with more than 2,000 fans at The Grove in Los Angeles.
“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without Beyoncé’s influence. The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms”.
Taylor Swift continued: “Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale”.
