In a new interview American pop-sensation Taylor Swift has opened about her public feud with rapper Kanye West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

‘MY CAREER WAS TAKEN FROM ME’
Taylor Swift has recently been named TIME’s 2023 Person of the Year and for her TIME interview the pop artist candidly opens up about her musical journey and personal life.
She also specifically talks about the 2016 incident where rapper Kanye West dropped the song Famous which featured a vulgar lyric about her which Taylor denied approving.
What made matter’s even worse was when Kanye’s then-wife, Kim Kardashian released an edited, recorded phone call between them that led fans to believe that Taylor was laying and overreacting.
Swift also noted that the public’s reaction to the debacle felt like “a career death” and “took [her] down psychologically to a place [she’d] never been before”.
“Make no mistake — my career was taken away from me”, Taylor Swift noted.

KIM KARDASHIAN STILL HASN’T APOLOGISED
As a result, Taylor shared that she moved to a foreign country because of how Kanye and Kim twisted her words.
She recalls how Kim Kardashian edited the “illegally recorded phone call”, making it seem as if she was a liar.
“You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar”, Taylor recalls.
Taylor Swift continued: “That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard”.
According to TMZ close insiders noted that Kim Kardashian never apologised to Taylor for the call.
The source also told the media outlet that Taylor is actually willing to accept an apology from the reality TV star, even all these years later.
