Renowned holiday decorator Dr. Christmas, aka Bob Pranga, recently spilled the tinsel on how he worked his magic in just three days to transform Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Malibu home into a winter wonderland with a unique ‘Christmas in Africa’ theme.

In an exclusive interview with People, Dr. Christmas shared the fascinating details of the last-minute holiday makeover.
The 61-year-old designer received a call from Beyoncé’s assistant only three days before Christmas, revealing the power couple’s decision to spend the festive season in Malibu.

BEYONCÉ AND THE CHRISTMAS SEASON
What followed was a whirlwind of festive frenzy as Pranga and his team faced the challenge of bringing the couple’s vision to life with less than 24 hours to prepare.
Upon arriving at the star-studded abode, Dr. Christmas described it as a “movie set,” with a team of experts meticulously working to make the house perfect for Christmas Eve.

BEYONCÉ CHRISTMAS IN AFRICA
The only directive given to Pranga and his team was to create a ‘Christmas in Africa’ theme with “beautiful colors and prints.”
Despite the tight time constraints, Dr. Christmas and his crew worked their holiday magic, adorning the home with vibrant decorations that captured the essence of the theme.

BEYONCÉ THE LOVELY LADY
Pranga revealed that the singer was a pleasure to work with, describing her as ‘a lovely lady’ and emphasizing the relaxed and down-to-earth atmosphere during the decorating process.
In addition to the festive home transformation, The singer recently made headlines during an event in Brazil celebrating the release of her film, “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.”
