Shady! Nigeria’s Osimhen trolls SA with Amapiano clip [watch]

Nigeria soccer player Victor Osimhen trolled South Africans by dancing to Amapiano music after beating Bafana Bafana in their Afcon semifinal.

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen has trolled Bafana Bafana and South African Amapiano lovers in a lock-room video following their Afcon semi-final victory on Wednesday, 7 February.

The striker poked fun at the country’s rivalries, particularly over soccer and music.

Nigeria beat SA 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out. They will now progress to the finals against the host country, Ivory Coast, on Sunday, 11 February.

NIGERIA’S OSIMHEN TROLLS SA OVER ‘AMAPIANO DERBY’

Following the match, Osimhen went on Instagram to brag about beating Bafana Bafana in the Afcon match, nicknamed the “Amapiano derby.”

He also used the opportunity to poke fun at playing the SA music genre, for which Nigeria has now taken credit.

It’s not the first time Osimhen has trolled SA.

In a video posted ahead of the Afcon match, the 25-year-old posted a clip of him dancing to Amapiano music. He even used moves made famous by South Africans.

Osimhen was not the only Nigerian player who has thrown shade at South Africans and Bafana Bafana.
