Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa is making headlines after his video dancing made rounds on social media.

No doubt South African ministers know how to trend.

He is the latest government official to trend after President Cyril Ramaphosa left social media users in stitches with his dance moves during the Presidential Imbizo recently held in Limpopo a few days ago.

A viral video of the minister showing off some of his sleek Amapiano dance moves has many convinced that he is two-legged.

The viral video comes barely a few days after Amapiano artists made an impassioned plea to his ministry for support.

The minister joyfully danced to an Amapiano song in the now-viral short clip.

Of interest is that the minister was attempting the iconic ‘Khekheleza’ dance popularised by Amapiano sensation Focalistic. No doubt Minister Zizi Kodwa’s dance moves left many in stitches.

MZANSI REACTS

The video has since gained thousands of reactions and comments since it dropped. Despite trying to put on a great show, not everyone was impressed with his dance moves.

Some followers flooded Twitter to take a swipe at the minister. Many have it that he can not only support the ministry with dance moves; hence there is a need for solid and constructive help.

Many had it that there was little or no progress from the ministry to support, uplift and empower artists in the country. However, he is not the first minister to have such a public backlash.
