After spending more than R47m on cars and allegedly purchasing a private jet, Wicknell Chivhayo has splurged R2.5m on a Gucci watch.

No doubt Zimbabwean business tycoon Sir Wicknell Chivhayo’s spending sprees have attracted regional attention after he allegedly ordered a custom-made Gucci timepiece that cost a fortune.

A few weeks ago, he hogged headlines after seemingly revealing that he has purchased a private jet for his trips.

SIR WICKNELL CHIVHAYO BUYS A R2.5M GUCCI WATCH

The business tycoon took to Instagram to share pictures of a jet with a cryptic caption, ‘ini ndiri mukuru handitaure zvekunyepa’ translate to ‘I’m a grown-up; I don’t lie.’

After the headlines, Wicknell Chivhayo recently took to social media to reveal that he was splurging R2 million on a Gucci timepiece G-Timeless Dancing Bees.

In a deleted Instagram story, the tycoon was spotted in an exclusive Gucci shop for high-rollers and top reserved clients.

Undoubtedly, over the years, he has quickly become one of the biggest clients of Gucci from the region and has a closet of designer clothes to show for it.

In the clip, he ordered the rare timepiece, which will arguably see him as the first owner of the rare watch, according to the Gucci saleswoman assisting him during his shopping.

The Dancing Bees model is available in two visual styles with and without a jewel-encrusted case. One can also get an optional diamond-set bracelet.

The least-priced timepiece costs around R2.5 million, with the most valued at around R4.5 million.

IMPRESSIVE AUTOMOBILE COLLECTION

No doubt Sir Wicknell has not been making only headlines in his own country Zimbabwe but Africa at large. This year he has since splurged more than R47 million on an impressive 2023 car collection.

The car collection includes three Rolls-Royces 2023 editions, two Mercedes-Benzs and a Ranger Rover.
