‘Gomora’ actress Sannah Mchunu visits burned victim Anakho

‘Gomora’ actress Sannah Mchunu, who plays the role of Zodwa recently visited Anakho, a child who was burned with hot water.

Award-winning actress Sannah Mchunu, who plays the popular character of Zodwa in Gomora visited Anakho in Cape Town.

SANNAH MCHUNU VISITS BURNED CHILD

The talented actress Sannah Mchunu revealed on her Instagram account that Anakho, who was burned with hot water is healing.

“Aww bandla, uyaphola uAnakho,” (oh my goodness, Anakho is healing) she said.

MDNnewss revealed on Twitter on Friday, 7 July that the 21-year-old woman, Asanda Makaluza from Cape Town has been arrested after pouring boiling water to the child.

IOL reports that Anakho Khala sustained injuries when Makazula allegedly poured water on him to stop him from playing with her gate in Settlers, Langa, on June 24.

The publication adds that she was arrested, charged with assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm after residents and EFF members stood up against the act .

The woman revealed that the 4-year-old was in her territory, when she was confronted and didn’t go to the boy’s family to ask for forgiveness.

“This hurt us deeply, and to see the child in so much pain really hurt me. That is why I decided to go to social media and ask for help. A lot of people supported our family and stood up for my nephew,” said a family member.

She made her first appearance in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate’s Court this week.

‘GOMORA’ ACTRESS BIDS FAREWELL TO TELENOVELA

TshisaLIVE revealed in April that the actress Sannah Mchunu bid farewell to Gomora after playing Zodwa since season one.

Mchunu took to her social media to express her sadness that the telenovela is ending.

“All things come to an end my friends. Let me take this opportunity to thank Seriti Production for blessing us with Gomora. We were treated very well, that’s why our performance was very great. It’s my first time working in a place where I put all my madness [and it was welcomed].”

She also thanked the crew and cast from Gomora and added that big things are yet to come and gates will open.

“It is painful to lose work but let us stay hopeful. The Lord who took us to Gomora will carry us and put us somewhere else. My friends and followers of Gomora, thank you so much for the support you have given us. I love you ,” she wrote.
