Peeps have mocked Gogo Maweni for calling the police on the person who scammed her instead of using her powers to sort it out.

South African traditional healer Makgotso Lee Ann Makopo — who is well known as Gogo Maweni — is always at the receiving end of ridicule here in South Africa. The celebrity sangoma has been criticised by many for her lavish lifestyle and selling products that she insists can be used to bewitch people.
And now she is being mocked after she called the police on people who allegedly scammed her. Many social media users have wondered why she simply didn’t use her products or powers on those who wronged her.

Gogo Maweni has on a number of occasions claimed to be one of the most powerful sangomas in the country.
In the past she confessed to turning her husband into a tokoloshe. She also gets a kick out of scaring people with clips of herself playing with snakes and taking walks in cemeteries.
The celeb gogo recently found herself facing backlash after she advertised products that supposedly help woman turn their male partners into puppets.

According to many, she is using her powers for the wrong thing.
And now she has left many wondering where exactly are those powers after she called the police on people who had scammed her.
Taking to Twitter, one app user, @advobarryroux wrote:
“Gogo Maweni was really scammed & instead of doing what Gogo Maweni say she does to people who play with her, she went & reported to the Police so that the Police can find the culprits.”

Many people agreed with the tweep and wondered why she would even need the help of the police.
“Scammer got scammed,” one person said while another added:
“I guess the scammer has more powers than her . The scammer’s underground gang has more powers”
