South African sports fanatic Mama Joy is going places. Famous for her enthusiastic support of local soccer teams, she took a little break from footie to enjoy the Rugby World Cup and has been supporting the Springboks in France ever since their first match against Scotland. Tonight the Bokke will be facing off against France in a quarterfinal match and locals are absolutely buzzing.
Taking to X, as she normally does, Mama Joy shared a video of herself dropping some words of encouragement for the team ahead of the big game.

Mama Joy shares support as the Springboks gear up to face France
Mama Joy Chauke’s passion for sports is certainly taking her places.
She was once famous for supporting Orlando Pirates but ruffled a bit of feathers when she switched teams and started supporting Shaun Mkhize’s Royal AM.
And now for the last couple of weeks she has been enjoying her life as she supports the country’s national rugby team, the Springboks who are currently killing it in the Rugby World Cup.

Taking to her social media pages, she shared a video of herself sharing words of encouragement with the Springboks who are going up against France tonight.
According to the famous sports fanatic, the game is going to be a tough one but the Springboks will be walking away victoriously.

Fans are super amped
South Africa rugby fans could not be more excited to see the team in action and have joined her in showing their support.
They have came out in numbers on social media app X to wish the team well while also sharing snaps of themselves in their green and gold t-shirts.
“The Boys are winning this game MamaJoy Someone is with them,” one super fan wrote.
