The Ferguson family is trending after the late Shona Ferguson’s birthday celebration pictures and videos flooded social media.

Connie and the Ferguson family are topping trends after Shona’s 49th birthday celebrations went viral.

The actress threw a birthday party for her late husband at her lavish mansion, and close family members and friends graced the event.

She has since shared a series of pictures and videos from birthday celebrations.

The viral pictures and videos came in the backdrop of her birthday post to Shona.

Taking to Instagram, she posted:

“21 months without you physically here, and it still feels unreal. Happy heavenly birthday to you, my LOVE, the coolest dude I have ever known! We miss you so much! Today we are celebrating you for all that you were and still are; a LEGEND! Continue resting my KING. It is well.”

THE UNTIMELY DEATH OF SHO

News24 reported that the South African actor and producer died at age 47.

Shona Ferguson is best known for his on-screen characters in Rockville, The Queen and The Wild.

He died at the Milpark Hospital in 2021 from Covid-19 related complications.

Shona was born Aaron Arthur Ferguson on 30 April 1974.

In 2010 Shona Ferguson and his wife, Connie, started their production company Ferguson Films.

The production company has since become one of the production companies in South Africa behind several award-winning drama series.

He hogged headlines with his on-screen character of Dr Leabu on the SABC2 s drama series Muvhango before he kissed his character goodbye in 2007.

Since then, he became a darling of small screens and starred in several soapies, which include:

  • Isidingo: The Need
  • Scandal
  • Rockville
  • Kings Of Jo’burg’
