Kaizer Chiefs fans have made a clarion call to the club’s administration to consider Sven Ludwig Vandenbroeck after he was sacked from Algerian side CR Belouizdad.
However, his sacking comes barely three months after joining the club from Morroco’s Wydad Casablanca.

KAIZER CHIEFS FANS RECOMMEND TOP COACH
In the backdrop of his sacking, little is known about why he was fired. However, the rumour mill has it that the Belgian gaffer was fired after a fallout with the club’s chairman.
He is confirming his sacking sportscaster Austin Ditlhobolo posted on Facebook: “GONE! CR Belouizdad have fired Sven Vandenbroeck.The Belgian tactician had disagreements with the club chairman just three months after joining the Algerian champions.”
“He guided Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca to the 2022/23 CAF Champions League final.”

Kaizer Chiefs fans quickly turned to the club owners to shortlist the gaffer who made headlines last year when he guided Wydad Casablanca to the 2022/23 CAF Champions League Final.
Sven Vandenbroeck knocked out Mamelodi Sundowns on his road to the CAF Champions League final.
Ditiro Letsapa commented: “Kaizer Chiefs here is a great coach, not those bricklayers.”
Kelvin Jacobs posted: “Austin Ditlhobolo, as an avid supporter of Kaizer Chiefs, can you please tag the club?!🤔😭😭😭.”
Mfanelo Nketle commented: “He will be linked to Kaizer Chiefs soon, but he is a great coach.”

CAREER
Despite some controversial stints, he has undoubtedly enjoyed his stay in Africa and has coached several top clubs and countries. He was Cameroon’s assistant coach when Hugo Broos won the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
In 2018, he was named Zambian national team coach, but his stint was short-lived. After partying ways with Zambia, he joined the Tanzanian club Simba before joining the Moroccan side AS FAR.
He joined Saudi Arabian outfit Abha from AS FAR but was sacked after losing to Al-Nassr. In 2023, he joined Waydad AC and later switched the floor to CR Belouizdad.
