DJ Zinhle is once again being blamed following a court battle between her husband Bongani “Morda” Mohosana (previously Murdah Bongz) and his former record label owner Spirit Motion, to which Black Motion is signed.

This comes after Spirit Motion won it’s court case against the Mohigan Sun hitmaker at the Gauteng High Court on Tuesday 10 January.

On Wednesday, fans were shocked and saddened by Black Motion’s social media posts which showed the court verdict, a broken door and damaged studio equipment.

The court letter states, in a matter between Spirit Motion (applicant) and Bongani Robert Mohosana (responded), that Morda has to replace the studio equipment owned by the music group.

“The respondent is to restore possession of the recording studio apparatus (listed in annexure A of the court order) to the applicant by no later than Friday, 13 January 2023 at 17:00.”

Accompanying the pictures in a cryptic caption that reads: “Tick – Tock. ‘Always enter like a kitten and leave like a lion. But NEVER enter like a lion and leave like a kitten. Always be humble’.”

As per the Twitter norm, DJ Zinhle — who shares daughter Asante with Woza Sambe producer — was used as scapegoat in the court battle and drama.

Trolls blame Zinhle for the rift between Morda and his former group member Thabo “Smol” Mabogwane, causing the duo to split. Some tweeps have said that Black Motion was doing great before the Umlilo hitmaker came into Morda’s life.

However, her fans are not having it as they have defended her from the trolls.

The verdict comes one month after Gauteng SAPS spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza confirmed to The South African that a case of theft and housebreaking was opened against Morda.

A source who spoke to Sunday World revealed that Morda was accused — by his former record label boss, Moses Nkia Mokgoko — of breaking into the group’s Centurion house on 15 December.

The source alleged that Morda stole studio monitors, a television set, computer hard drives and mixing desk from the house which the Black Motion use as an office and studio.

It was reported that Black Motion discovered a forced entry and it had not been the first time.

“This is not the first time he did this. A few weeks ago, he allegedly went to the house and trashed it. He then went into the studio and allegedly deleted some of the songs Smol and Problem Child had recorded. Thereafter he allegedly took Thabo’s passport and left.

“After some discussions with him they decided to let it slide and not press charges. They instead changed the door locks,” said the source.

The fued start in October when the Woza Sambe DJ qllegedly vacated the house he co-owns with Mokgoko and his former group member Thabo Smol.

Morda reportedly moved in with his wife DJ Zinhle when he went solo in October and was replaced by Kabelo “Problem Child” Koma — who now joins Thabo Smol as the second member of Black Motion.

It appears Morda was not happy with Spirit Motion and Black Motion’s decision to replace him, as he told Kaya 959 in November that he was not made aware of the decision.
