Next stop? Miss Universe

While everyone was taking in Natasha Joubert’s Miss SA win, it was also announced that Bryoni — and not Natasha — would be entering the Miss Universe contest.

This is because Natasha, a former Miss Universe contestant, is not permitted to enter the pageant for a second time, as per the Miss Universe rules and regulations.

Opening up about this, Bryoni said that she was honoured to represent SA on the universal stage.

“Just being there, making it that far, having the opportunity to represent the most beautiful country in the entire world,” she said.
