A video of Nandi Magudumana – known as Dr Nandi – chatting to a private investigator just two months ago has social media users convinced that her alleged boyfriend Thabo Bester is seen in the background…
According to Twitter users, the man known as the “Facebook Rapist” is allegedly spotted walking behind the celebrity aesthetics doctor.
Bester – allegedly with the assistance of Nandipha – faked his death and escaped prison in May 2022. Bester is a convicted rapist, murderer, and fraudster.

IS THABO BESTER SEEN IN DR NANDI’S VIDEO?
In a video originally published by The Citizen, Dr Nandi is seen talking to a private investigator over lunch at an upmarket restaurant.
The duo chatted about Nandipha’s outstanding payment to a car dealership over a R1.35 million luxury Mercedes-Benz purchase. According to the publication, Dr Nandi drove the car over the South African border into Zimbabwe last year. She then allegedly deserted it and returned to the border on foot, where another vehicle picked her up.

The video confrontation was taken two months ago.
But in a bizarre twist, Twitter users have claimed to have spotted Thabo Bester in the background.
One tweep – @am_blujay – tweeted: “To people who watched that Dr Nandipha video with private investigators, there is a guy who came out of nowhere running behind the doctor. Why does that man look like Thabo Bester?”

The tweep then zoomed into the background to a figure which he claimed resembled Bester.

Meanwhile, Minister of Police Bheki Cele claims that authorities are “close” to catching Bester.
Speaking to eNCA’s Power to Truth, he said: “We are chasing Bester for the second time as the police, but we will find Bester. We are getting good close.”

He added: “We will find Bester; we are getting good news.”
However, the minister refused to comment on allegations Bester had fled South Africa to a neighbouring African country.
This week, police searched a Hyde Park home, the last known address of Thabo Bester and Dr Nandi. According to reports, police were searching for the bodies of a domestic worker and gardener employed by the couple, who have since gone missing.
