‘Senior baddies’: Tweeps react to middle-aged women at KONKA
A group of middle-aged women went to KONKA club recently. A picture of them taken at the establishment has been trending on Twitter since.

Six middle-aged women recently found themselves trending on Twitter after a picture of them standing in front of Soweto’s notorious nightclub Konka, was circulated.
A GROUP OF MIDDLE-AGED WOMEN VISIT KONKA
KONKA is located in Modjadjie Street, Soweto, in Gauteng. Over the years it has become a popular hot spot for ballers. The nightclub has trended several times after its patrons showed off their jaw-dropping receipts.
The most prominent celebrities can also be seen at KONKA. According to African Insider, in 2021, rapper Cassper Nyovest and Royal AM soccer player Andile Mpisane made headlines after it was reported that they had bought the same car. To up his game, Mpisane reportedly went to KONKA and bought out all of the rapper’s Billiato tequila bottles the nightclub had in stock.

In 2022, American actress Gabrielle Union and her retired NBA player husband Dwayne Wayde surprised Mzansi when they also visited KONKA with local media personality Pearl Thusi, Briefly reported. The Breaking In actress was said to have been seen dancing and enjoying the high-end kasi flavour in the wings sold at the nightclub.
Recently, four middle-aged women visited KONKA and have since had Twitter buzzing. They were seen at KONKA’s famous parking lot posing for the camera. After seeing their picture doing the rounds online, Twitter users expressed how impressed they were to see the ladies go out and enjoy themselves.
