‘Finally’: Tweeps on Ramaphosa, Malema and Cele’s resignation?
People in South Africa were eager to find out who had resigned between Julius Malema, Cyril Ramaphosa, and Bheki Cele.

A popular Twitter user stirred things up on social media over the past weekend when they left a vague question on their timelines which led online users to assume that either the President of the African National Congress, Cyril Ramaphosa, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema or the Minister of Police Bheki Cele had resigned.

Taking to Twitter, the popular user wrote,
“He has resigned? 🙌🏾”
The caption had Tweeps vocal about which leader they wanted to see resign from power.
Among the names mentioned by netizens were those of Ramaphosa, Malema, and Cele

Ironically enough, just last month, Malema made headlines for the National Shutdown campaign, where he urged for Ramaphosa’s resignation.
According to IOL, the EFF accused Ramaphosa of presiding over a failing state, enabling corruption, and also blamed him for the power crisis at Eskom.
Meanwhile, in Cele’s case, the mounting call for him to resign has been up in the air for some time.
According to TimesLive, in 2022, after a mass shooting that reportedly took place in Mariannhill, in KwaZulu-Natal, that left seven people and others injured, a call for Cele to resign commenced.

He was quoted as saying,
“The crime situation cannot be the responsibility of [the] police alone. There are many other things. There is a lot of unemployment, which is not the responsibility of the police.
